Get to know the role:

You will oversee the back office operations of the Grab Food team which comprises of two main areas (payments and admin) Payments operations include commission and refund payment processing (to include the commission calculation, commission collection, commission reconciliation, commission payment monitoring, and monitoring refund payment.of fictitious order). Admin operations include administrative support for the team (procurement, asset management, inventory management)

The day-to-day activities:

  • Responsible for leading the Finance operation processes

  • Responsible for leading the preparation of monthly sales reports to Merchant

  • Responsible for leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly sales reports for management

  • Responsible for leading weekly reimbursement claim and monitor the payment process (including liase with Country Finance)

  • Responsible for maintaining and improve policies and procedures for Merchant collections and revenue recognition

  • Responsibility for ensuring process of financial analysis such sales forecast and provision of bad debt

  • Responsible for ensuring collection procedures are performed in accordance with law & company policies procedures

  • Responsible for streamlining the payment process and make necessary improvements with the team

  • Responsible for overseeing the procurement activities of the business

  • Responsible for overseeing the assets and inventory held by the business

The must haves:

  • Bachelor (or above) degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

  • At least 5 years' experience in Finance Operations

  • Experience in dealing and supporting senior level management

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English

  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to direct and supervise

  • Strong analytical and planning skills

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
