Get to know our Team:
We are looking for Senior Partner Experience Associate (GrabHubs) to organise the daily operations at a cluster of GrabHubs and similar upcoming GrabFood projects. Responsibilities also include scheduling shifts for staff, monitoring daily sales, inventory movement, ordering of supplies and management of facilities/sites.
The ideal candidate should be able to set a high standard and good example for all staff with regard to cleanliness, hygiene, punctuality, attendance and an excessive customer service attitude. They should work hard to ensure these standards are maintained at all times and carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the post as reasonably requested. They should also be prepared for future scope expansions, which are in the pipeline.
To be successful in this role they should have work experience with various roles in cafes or restaurants OR a safety/quality assurance related role in a supervisory capacity. Ultimately, they will need to help to increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn (Hawker Picks and the) GrabHubs into a GrabFood Merchant of choice. They should be open to covering duties where necessary including weekends and public holidays depending on the needs of the business or on staffing constraints.
Job Description:
- Reporting to the Partner Experience Assistant Manager (GrabHubs Operations Manager) and his team
- provide proactive, prompt and regular reports, feedback and suggestions on all GrabHubs operations (such as operational process improvement and efficiency)
- Manage day-to-day operations of the GrabHubs and similar upcoming GrabFood projects in a cluster
- coordinate staff and ensure they perform their duties with diligence, coaching them where standards have fallen short of expectations
- coordinate with various teams to proactively ensure the smooth running of the GrabHubs and similar upcoming GrabFood projects
- maintain effective stock control, storage and rotation to minimise wastage
- conduct weekly inventory checks and coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed
- monitor and manage all maintenance issues at the GrabHubs and similar upcoming GrabFood projects
- advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with customers and deliver excellent customer service
- nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
- Onboard and train new staff:
- food handling and hygiene
- cleaning and sanitising
- Maintaining high standards of compliance to SOPs and relevant legislation to ensure Food Safety Standards (ISO 22000:2018):
- ensure adherence to GrabHubs' and similar upcoming GrabFood projects' FSMS to prevent cross-contamination and prevent breach of privileged trade/business information
- daily temperature logs
- ensure high standards of cleanliness and
- sanitary of all areas of the GrabHubs and similar upcoming GrabFood projects
Requirements:
- Work experience as a restaurant/cafe supervisor, manager or barista, safety/quality assurance related role in a supervisory capacity
- Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and public holidays)
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage and motivate a team and remain calm under pressure
- Exceedingly high level of Customer service attitude
- Takes initiative and do more than is required without having to be told
- Have a “team member” mindset as opposed to “just an employee” mindset
- Competent IT, numeracy and literacy skills
- Entrepreneurial, able to spot issues and opportunities quickly
- Self-motivated and effective in time management
- Work within all Grab policies and procedures, in particular health and safety (maintain Food Safety Certification ISO 22000), equal opportunities, confidentiality and data protection.
- Additional certification (e.g. in Diploma in Business Administration or Hospitality or WSQ Certificate in Food Hygiene) is a plus
