Our Branch in Ho Chi Minh City has been established in 2012. Our main practice areas are Corporate (with a main focus on investment projects from German and other European clients), International Trade, Equipment Supply Projects, Distribution, IP and Food Law.

For our Branch, we are seeking a qualified

VIETNAMESE LEGAL TRANSLATOR AND

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Entry Date shall be in March 2022.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor degree in law
• Solid knowledge of legal English; ability and experience to translate legal documents from English into Vietnamese and from Vietnamese into English
• Good writing skills in presenting legal issues
• Strong analytical skills and diligence in research
• Good understanding of professional social media, networks and other PR tools
• Personality: kind, honest, internationally minded

Responsibilities:

• Contract and legal document translation
• Permanent Research on new legal developments and drafting of legal newsletters and firm-internal updates
• Actively maintaining the Vietnam-related social media presence of the firm
• Legal Research on all matters of Vietnamese law to support lawyers in their work
• Assisting in various legal procedures when needed
• Conducting legal inquiries or clarification with government authorities
