Trade Coordinator (Temp 8M)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trade Manager to develop trade plans and strategies, considering market movement (rates/vessel capacity/client’s request...)
• Analyze trade data and trends to identify opportunities for cargo lifting/ocean freight improvement or new products on the trades
• Maintain and update freight rates/tariffs based on spot/NACs rates and contractual/long term agreements
• Coordinate with sales and freighting teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for all DCAs/ IFF
• Monitor closely capacity and space management within allocations given by Geneva/Regional to ensure optimal utilization
• Act as a primary point of contact to MSC GVA, MSC Regional and other MSC Agents to solve all specific issues/problems. Communicate with local stakeholders on GVA/RO directions, strategies & goals
• Achieves budget volume, revenue, and goals on respective Trade. Updating prospects upon checking on market activities and Trade performance and following GVA guideline on budget volume driven policy.
• Monitor space allocation vs booking on each feeder or M/V and coordinate with Ispace, transshipment and capacity team.
• Monitor cargo selection and yield management to ensure balance of high/low paying cargo for respective Trades daily.
• Participate weekly meetings with Sales team and check daily booking performance to update on Trade performance and relevant issues.
• Prepare, review, and ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports are accurate and submitted in timely manners to respective management.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
• Perform any duties as assigned by Trade Manager/Commercial Director

Key Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum 2 years’ experience in related industry
