Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) is a global leader offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions. ofi commenced operations in Vietnam in 1997, setting up its representative office. Since then, we have established an extensive presence across different parts of Vietnam, including our head office in Ho Chi Minh City and regional offices in Binh Dinh, Long An, Dong Nai, Phu Yen, Lamdong and Gialai Provinces.

ofi Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashews, Pepper & Instant Coffee in Vietnam, investing in the state-of-the-art instant coffee facility and running 7 large factories with 7,500 employees across Central & South Vietnam. Our operations have an interface with a farmer network of 2 million farmers. We are also amongst the largest exporter of Green Coffee in Vietnam.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Assistant Manager to join our dynamic finance team. Your responsibilities will include organizing and maintaining records of tax payments٫ as well as recommending best practices to promote our company’s financial well-being and ensuring full compliance with legal regulations

Specific Functions, Additional duties will include but not be limited to the following:

1. Review monthly VAT declaration and work with authorities for VAT refund

2. Review payroll and PIT declaration

3. Review all commercial contracts and highlight potential risk

4. Work closely with Tax and legal team from Head office to ensure accurate records of tax liabilities and timely filings and submissions to tax authorities

5. Maintain organized and accurate tax records.

6. Gather and organize documentation for audit/ Tax refund purposes and support in responding to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

7. Research and stay updated on changes to local tax laws and communication to all departments to ensure tax compliance is available

8. Maintain Compliance of Branch and highlight/ give advice as well as fulfilled non-compliance area

Authority:

1. Implementing assigned tasks and complying with company regulations and team function.

2. To be entitled to request and recommend superior innovation, and improvements in work.

3. Assign the staff in the management department to fulfill the Tax accounting job requirements within Finance & Accounting Dept.

Yêu cầu công việc

Education: Graduation from accounting / finance major of university of economics / Banking / Vietnam National University + ACCA / CIMA studying is a plus

Experience: At least 3 years' experience of working on a Tax advisor/Tax Accountant or Tax Analyst position

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

SAP experience preferred.

Have basis knowledge on VAS and IFRS

Have basis understanding on tax and regulation

Identifying problems and implementing preventative strategies to minimize risk.

Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with various teams.

Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details.

Key Soft Skills

Strong Mathematical, analytical

Good in Excel and MS office

English proficiency

Carefully and can work in detail

Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal

Other Priority Competencies/Skills

Working well with many different departments and external suppliers.

Stress management with multiple demands in a team environment

Time management skills
