Senior Laboratory Technician – Food Testing Laboratory

• Ensure to understand instructions/ guidelines/ SOPs/ procedures before doing testing.
• Receive and review carefully testing orders and perform tests properly in accordance with requirements.
• Record all raw data related to testing orders.
• Ensure that all chemical, solvents, reagents, … are stored properly as per safety procedures and keep the work area tidy, clean and safe.
• All assigned equipment, environment conditions, reagents, internal work sheet, ...must be recorded. Ensure all assigned equipment calibrated and maintained in required interval.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality management and safety guidelines in daily activities.
• Update to leader daily activities of process as required and report any problems when performing tests.
• Review and check carefully testing results of individual or team before submitting to leader/ manager.
• Be responsible for the technical and quality of all lab activities as authorized or assigned by leader/ manager.
• Develop and validate new testing method.
• Other duties relevant to be requested by leader/ manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Food technology or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in food nutrition testing and proximate analysis, preferably in a service laboratory environment.
• Proven experience in leading or supervising laboratory teams is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in operating food testing instruments and interpreting testing results.
• Having good knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements.
• Good English in reading document and communication.
• Result and service-oriented individual.
• A proactive team player but with ability to work independently in challenging projects and timeline.
