Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at our school. I hope you are encouraged enough by what you see here to visit the school and see for yourself what we have to offer. The mission of the school is simple and one which underpins everything we do: we provide a safe and encouraging environment, which is international in outlook, and is focused on achieving outstanding academic success. Our internationalism is underlined by our curriculum, the composition of our staff and students and our educational philosophy; whilst our academic focus is driven by the careful blending of inquiry based learning and Cambridge examinations as well as the depth of experience of our teaching staff. ​ The International School of Vietnam is a not-for-profit Pre-kindergarten to Grade 12 institution, serving both the international and the local community. As an international school, we embrace what our host country has to offer whilst bringing the world to our doorstep. Speaking personally, I am about to start my thirty-first year in education, twenty-four of these in an international context and the last sixteen as a Principal or Head of a School, and I feel more excited about the year ahead than I have ever before.
