Kinh nghiệm:
- Take a proactive approach and monitor compliance with food safety and quality standards in production. Suggest improvements for any quality and safety issues identified.
- Supervise and manage the operation of BRC, IFS and ORGANIC quality management systems and collect quality related information from suppliers on regular basis.
- Prepare food safety and quality reports for stakeholders based on QC staff data input
- Coordinate feedback on third-party and client audits; supply information as requested, implement corrective actions and improvements as needed
- Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively when they arise and report back to the stakeholders in a professional manner
- Lead a team of 4 QC staff (set weekly schedules, follow up on their daily feedback from processing plants, take care of data entry into the central system, support with supervision on site when needed, …)
- Communicate with stakeholders and upper management on active quality topics
- Receive and guide customers during prospection trips or audits and ensure customer expectations are met together with the commercial team
- Make risk assessments for the entry of new products and/or suppliers
- Assist commercial team in R&D to develop new products, recipes and packagings based on specific requirements for final product (product display, shelf life prolonging, taste/visual experience, etc.)
- Follow up on the production plan with suppliers, manage and report delays in production when arising.
- Monitor the shipment plan and make capacity calculations to optimize the combination of different orders for container shipments
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
- Food technology degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the food industry.
- Good social skills
- Positive working spirit that encourages team work and participate in cross training for the development of skills amongst colleagues.
- Have strong observation and evaluation skills and carefulness in execution
- Thrive in communication with customers via electronic channels and in the field
- Fluent English and Vietnamese (other languages are not mandatory but considered a plus)
- Able to work with various IT systems (Microsoft office, Traces, GS1 Trace, Osapiens, …)
- Good analytical, planning and problem solving skills
