Scope: Responsible for all procurement activities for Nabati Food Vietnam, focusing on the local direct - indirect procurement, importation of finished goods, management of local 3PL/warehouse providers, and.

Job & Responsibilities:

1. Manage the end-to-end procurement process for finished goods imported from the Indonesian principal, including order management, shipment coordination, and customs clearance.

2. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for local indirect goods and services (e.g., marketing materials, office supplies, IT equipment) to support business operations.

3. Liaise directly with the supply chain and export teams in Indonesia to ensure seamless communication, resolve supply issues, and align on forecasting and inventory levels.

4. Select, negotiate with, and manage local vendors, including third-party logistics (3PL), freight forwarders, and warehouse providers, to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.

5. Monitor and manage inventory levels in Vietnam to prevent stock-outs or overstocking situations, balancing logistics costs with product availability.

6. Ensure all procurement activities comply with Vietnam import regulations (e.g., Bureau of Customs - BOC, FDA Vietnam), other requirements where applicable, and company policies.

7. Prepare and present regular performance reports on procurement KPIs (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance, inventory turnover) to both the Global Procurement office and Vietnam Country Manager.

Experiences & Background:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business; MBA. CIPS or other professional supply chain are strongly preferred

2. 7-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years focused on setting up new procurement functions or supply chains for international brands in Vietnam

3.  Demonstrated experience in developing sourcing strategies that align with commercial goals and market expansion plans. Proven track record of managing 3PL and freight forwarding partners

4.  Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting to a regional or global HQ

5. Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
 Fluent in Viet and English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a significant advantage

6. Hands-on experience dealing with Vietnam Bureau of Customs (BOC), FDA, and other relevant regulatory bodies is essential

7. Strong negotiation skills with a portfolio of successful cost-saving initiatives on direct-indirect Procurement

8. Contribute to implement Global Strategic Sourcing, Company Policy and Compliances

Functional Competencies:

1. International Sourcing & Logistics: Deep understanding of import/export procedures, customs tariffs, and international trade terms (Incoterms), particularly within the ASEAN region.

2. Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with both internal (Indonesia HQ) and external (local vendors, government agencies) stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

3. Negotiation & Cost Management: Strong skills in negotiating contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms and drive cost savings for the organization.

4. Regulatory Compliance (Vietnam): Proficient knowledge of Vietnam's import processes, including Vietnam Bureau of Customs (BOC), FDA, and other relevant regulatory bodies requirements and labeling standards for imported food products.
