Container Management in Terminals, ICDs, Depots … for Container Shipping Lines and NVOCCs

Responsibilities

• Managing containers for Shipping Lines smoothly, minimize cost, fast turn around, safety, accuracy …..
• Work with Container Lines Head Quarter and oversea Agents. - Work with Vendors such as Container Terminals, Depots, Barges, Trucking … companies.
• Managing Repair and Maintenance containers on behalf of Line / Customers. - Well aware / possess good understanding of customer’s equipment standard. Communicate with deport / terminal on customer behalf to ensure such standard to be strictly followed / satisfied.
• Managing / Monitoring Containers flows, release to customers, repo to other outports by strictly following to Line / Head Quarter instruction. - In charge of Customer / Company’s cost / invoice / vendor management systems. Ensure invoices / costing are closely monitor and inputted in the system in a timely manner.
• In charge of producing daily reports / other reports / forecast following Customers and Line Manager instruction.
• Coordinate with other Logs staff for sufficient coverage, maintain stable performance for Line Logs KPI in general.
• Coordinate with other Departments (Customer Services / Documentation / Operations / Account) in case required for smooth overall performance towards Line / Customer
• Liaising / communicating with Logs team in other outports for smooth coordination if required.
• Other relevant tasks as assigned by General Manager / Line Manager.

• Experience in Liner Logistics Department
• University degree
• Good communication in English.
• Hard work. Good at excel and have knowledge in container management system.
