GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

MRS Group is a multi-industry corporation with a network of member companies operating in agricultural exports, steel trading, manufacturing, and technology. With a strategy focused on sustainable development and professionalizing its management system, MRS Group is building a modern, transparent financial-accounting system aligned with international standards (IFRS).

We are currently in the process of standardizing accounting procedures and implementing an ERP system — making this the perfect time for highly competent, responsible, and improvement-oriented professionals to join us in building a solid financial foundation for the future.

The General Accountant plays a key role in:

• Consolidating, reconciling, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports.

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and processes across the company.

• Collaborating with departments and member companies to manage costs, cash flow, and tax reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounting Operations and Oversight

• Record daily general accounting transactions in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and internal procedures.

• Verify and reconcile detailed and summarized accounting data across different accounting areas.

• Review and consolidate accounting data from member companies for internal reporting.

2. Financial and Tax Reporting

• Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).

• Assist the Chief Accountant in preparing and submitting consolidated financial reports for the Group.

• Produce management reports as required by the Board of Directors (P&L, cost analysis, profit analysis, etc.).

• Handle tax declarations (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.) and liaise with tax authorities when needed.

3. ERP & Accounting System Implementation

• Coordinate the implementation of ERP accounting software and automation tools (e.g., MISA AMIS, SAP).

• Propose improvements to accounting processes and internal controls suitable for each member company’s operations.

1. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.

• At least 3 years of experience as a General Accountant or similar position; preference given to candidates with experience in manufacturing, trading, or import-export companies.

• Solid understanding of tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting processes.

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with MISA AMIS or ERP is a plus).

• Detail-oriented, honest, responsible, logical thinking, teamwork skills, and ability to work under pressure.

• English proficiency is required.
