Get to know the Role:

To assist the Head of Merchant Acquisition in:

  • Acquire channel partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with channel partners.
  • Work closely with channel partners to achieve acquisition targets.

Traits required to excel in this role:

  • Strong sales and communication skills.
  • Strong deal structuring skills, data and target driven individual.
  • Structured, responsible and driven individual.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Acquisition: Lead sales team and sales partners to achieve monthly acquisition targets.
  • Total Product Value (TPV): Ensure channel partners onboard 90% of existing merchants to GrabPay.
  • Launching New Markets: Identify and plan the launch of GrabPay in new markets.
  • Scale: Improve sales process to increase efficiency.
  • Prior experience in budget management is a plus point.
  • This role requires the individual to work well with internal and external parties.
  • Have managed a team of 5 minimum previously.

The must haves:

  • 5 years working experience in sales management and strategy.
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office (words, power point and excel).
  • Advance Excel and PowerPoint skills is a plus.
  • Experience in dealing with external and internal parties.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • Have managed a team previously.
  • Responsible for business targets.
