Get to know the Role:
- Manage, plan, review and refresh the information technology and computer systems.
- Develop operations policies, guidelines and procedures, and ensure they are fully enforced and reviewed periodically.
- Ensure security of data, network access and infrastructure systems are adhere to.
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy
- Manage staff regionally by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Act as primary IT contact within the organization for all IT related functions: operational support, application support and service delivery, perform troubleshooting & problem-solving and escalation.
- Work with internal teams to plan and implement service and application upgrades and changes that will drive operational and user productivity
- Support IT infrastructure related projects, such as server or network upgrades and office expansions and relocations (Regionally).
The must haves:
- Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
- Minimum 8 years working experience as an Regional IT manager or relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Experience in data governance.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Experience in a Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) level computing environment;
- Support experience with various operating systems (Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS);
- Experience in deploying and supporting desktops, laptops, video conferencing, networking and mobile devices;
- Proven Experience in managing regional or global country teams.
- ITSM Knowledge and experience is preferred.
