Get to know our Team:
 

You will be working as part of the Grab Food team. We are a lean team, and work closely in service of shaping the Grab brand into a loveable powerhouse in Southeast Asia.


Get to know the Role:

We are looking for a strong analytics analyst to join our team. As the analytics analyst for Grab Food, you will have the exciting opportunity to identify opportunities for the business to grow by looking at both internal and external data trends.


The day-to-day activities:

  • Own the decision making with regards to prioritizing brands and locations for Grab Food development.

  • Develop a detailed plan and approach for analyzing the data available to make solid recommendations to the Food team.

  • Iterate on the analytics methodology to increase confidence levels over time.

  • Manage multiple stakeholders across FP&A, site development and merchant partnerships to ensure that the teams have the analyses required for execution.

  • Deliver analytics work on time and in a format that is easily usable by the various stakeholders.

  • Identify and escalate any issues with regards to data gathering and data analysis.



The must haves:

  • 2-4 years of experience in an highly-analytical environment, having applied statistical analysis techniques and advanced analytics

  • Background in engineering, mathematics, statistics or economics preferred

  • Strong communication and influencing skills and ability to adapt to a very fast paced environment

  • Hands on personality, fast learner and able to thrive in ambiguous situations

  • SQL (must have)

  • Statistical Modelling

  • R, Python (preferred)
