Retail Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the B2C market share, with a strong focus on premium and luxury customer segments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales Management

• Drive sales performance through effective sales skills training and coaching.
• Manage merchandising and product mix in line with local customer demand.
• Analyze sales performance (best/worst sellers) and implement action plans to improve results.

2. Operations Management

• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks to ensure smooth daily retail operations.
• Oversee inventory control, stock counts, inbound/outbound transfers, and minimize shrinkage or loss.
• Ensure marketing and promotional campaigns are properly implemented and clearly communicated to the sales team.

3. People Management

• Allocate sales targets fairly and effectively (experience managing teams of 5+ staff).
• Handle internal conflicts professionally while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in retail sales management.
• Experience in Furniture, Construction, or High-end Durable Goods, particularly in premium/luxury segments, is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to take on challenges and work under sales targets.
