Product Development Manager / NPD Manager (Stationery/Book/Creative Toy)

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis

• Research and analyze the market and customer segments to identify trends and potential new product development opportunities in the U.S. market.
• Analyze the feasibility of new product development proposals.

New Product Development and Launch

• Establish strategic objectives and plans for new product development based on data and market research.
• Collaborate with Design, Content, Marketing, and Supply Chain departments to ensure production timelines and product launches.
• Develop and implement a continuous creative process for the team to optimize products.
• Create detailed strategies and plans for new product launches.
• Periodically review and adjust product development strategies based on post-launch results.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

Team Management and Development

• Lead and train the team, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
• Foster motivation and encourage creativity within the team, ensuring a positive and effective work environment.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Product Development, with at least 1 year in a management role, preferably in office supplies, toys, papers or related industries.
• Experience managing product development projects from concept to market launch.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality standards and placing orders with suppliers (over 5000 products/order).
• Ability to analyze market data and consumer trends.
• Effective project management skills and the ability to inspire the team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (with a 1.5-hour lunch break).
