Get to know the Role:
This role is to support operations department in providing goods and services with high quality within budget constraint and on time delivery.
The day-to-day activities:
- Identifies and leads sourcing and procurement process improvements
- Applies and implements Strategic Sourcing best practices and processes
- Drafts and edits commercial documents (RFPs, RFQs, Contracts, Terms & Conditions, etc.)
- Maintains database of contracts and supplier information.
- Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files, report and price list
- Negotiation with vendor
- Seeking new vendor & maintain existing vendor
- Manages Service Level Agreements with suppliers
The must haves:
- Minimum bachelor degree
- Minimum 4 years experience in purchasing with background from transportation industry
- Proficient in MS. Office especially Ms. Excel. Knowledge in Oracle system is a plus point
- Good Communication in English
- Able to work under pressure with a tight deadline
- Understand spare part, maintenance car and car insurance
- Understand consignment system
- Experience in handling fleet operation will be advantages
