Get to know the Role:
- You'll be a champion of Grab's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure intellectual rigour is applied on all people decisions.
- Whether coaching our leaders on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Grabbers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Grabbers understand how people decisions get made.
The day-to-day activities:
C&B Management
- Manage C&Bs Programs/Policy/Processes roll out and C&B administration (e.g. Grab Flexible Benefits Program).
- Work with regional team in driving annual performance management including compensation & benefits processes.
- Ensure execution and delivery of C&B services according to defined SLA(s).
- Communicate information regarding policies/standards on C&B to stakeholders as needed.
- Manage payroll process and ensuring all basic data (e.g. OT, Allowances, Severance Pay) are computed correctly and distributed on time as per the payroll process guidelines
- Assist in review procedures, and work process relating to compensation & benefit management to support the organization’s direction and ensure local compliance and propose for management approval.
- Recommend enhancements and simplification of existing C&B processes and procedures based on experience with stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate service delivery support for internal stakeholders and oversee accurate and timely processing of information with all stakeholders.
- Prepare information and documents for external authorities for audit purposes.
- Assist Head of Country Pops on headcounts management and budgeting.
- Lead process improvement projects as and when required.
- Establish internal controls and measures to track and complete documentation for future audits
HR Administration
- Provide professional end-to-end HR Administration service to support employee life cycle procedures and processes that are considered as adding value, measurable, directly tied to business objectives and aimed at increasing employee success and satisfaction.
- Ensure employee data and record is accurate at all times by updating Workday system and maintain employee files in accordance with Data Protection regulations.
- Support the administration of employee flex benefits, medical insurance, PA & TL insurance and attend to employee enquiries.
- Prepare and generate all necessary letters for employee confirmation, transfer, resignation and any other relevant letters as and when required.
- Respond to employee requests by ensuring that all advice provided is consistent, aligned with business principles, policies, procedures and current local legislation; know when to escalate.
- Ensure compliance to audit, legal and HR policy and procedural requirements at all times.
- Expat Services, Immigration Services (Visa and Work Permit)
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time
The must haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field (preferred HR, Finance, Economics) with minimum 3 years-experience in C&B.
- Have working experiences in multi international companies, preferably from Tech or e-commerce industry.
- Good command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good proficiency in MS Office (MS excel, MS word, Power Point) especially excel should be excellent.
- Good at analyzing, organizing and managing within deadlines.
- Be process & details-oriented person yet agile for continuous improvement.
- Be a good team player with commitment and integrity as core value.
