The Outsource Supervisor oversees external suppliers responsible for embellishment techniques (e.g., embroidery, screen printing, digital, AOP, bonding, heat transfer, lazer cut, etc… as well as CMP and Accessories), ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with the company’s standards. They act as the bridge between the in-house team and external service providers, coordinating logistics, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that outsourced processes align with the company’s production and aesthetic goals while optimizing costs.
Responsibilities:
Supplier Management & Sourcing
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; ensure NDA compliance and maintain a qualified vendor list.
Negotiate SLAs covering pricing, lead times, quality, and capacity.
Development & Sampling
Oversee development stages, ensuring proper supplier selection, accurate info transfer, and adherence to timelines.
Review and approve samples before submitting to relevant departments.
Production & Quality Assurance
Book supplier capacity, monitor production progress, conduct PP meetings, and enforce daily follow-ups.
Coordinate QA/QC inspections, track defects, and ensure supplier accountability.
Communication & Cross-functional Collaboration
Attend and lead meetings with internal teams, suppliers, and planning/finance departments.
Ensure transparent communication and timely escalation of issues.
Cost & Lead Time Control
Track and update cost/lead time matrices; analyze variances and recommend solutions.
Ensure ERP and all tracking systems are kept up-to-date.
Compliance & Documentation
Enforce SOP adherence, support audits, manage ISO documentation, and prevent unethical practices.
Maintain all reports related to cost, lead time, payment, and invoice processing.
Training & Continuous Improvement
Conduct internal/external training, update SOPs and treatment databases, and promote team learning.
Lead performance reviews, manage KPIs, and implement process optimizations.
Leadership
Mentor and support the Outsource team; foster accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
Drive initiatives for better work-life balance and sustainable performance.
