The Maps Ops Lead will be an integral team member of the Geo product organization that is tasked with building world-class mapping and places of interest content for SEA.
Get to know the Role:
We are looking for individuals with strong understanding of the user experience for our maps product, who can work closely with the product team to ensure the maps organization ships the highest quality experience. The candidate should have experience working with other remote teams, and be able to oversee their team while still ensuring consistency with the rest of the Maps team around the region.
The day-to-day activities:
Oversee the day-to-day performance of a group of regional Maps Ops members
Conduct administrative tasks and manage teams’ schedule
Organize and prioritize daily & weekly assignments
Monitor individual and team performance against defined KPI’s
Identify training and process improvement opportunities
Provide regular team status updates to management
Support Map Ops team members in problem solving and address escalated issues in a responsive, timely, and accurate manner
Submit and track production issues to resolution
To adhere to Grab’s confidentiality procedures and policies when collecting, storing and sharing data

The must haves:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience
Strong decision making and critical thinking skills with sound judgment
Proven ability to work across multiple time zones, cultures and business groups
Able to organize and prioritize projects or assignments
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously without close supervision
Passion for improving Grab’s Maps user experience
Experience managing a regional team preferred
Computer skills with knowledge of office software applications
Advanced Excel skills preferred
Detail oriented
Analytical and problem solving skills essential
Planning and organizational skills
Good communication skills, fluent in English and at least one other SEA language
Team player
