KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in developing, deploying, monitoring, operating, and governing IT systems.
- Deploy software systems to AWS Cloud infrastructure and the Kubernetes platform.
- Work with developers and the project team to ensure code quality and align with the deployment strategy.
- Identify potential technical issues and provide early feedback to the project lead/DevOps lead.
- Work with the operations team to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Support the operations team with production issues related to logging, monitoring, and tracing systems and expertise.
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Periodically monitor, report, upgrade, and propose ways to optimize existing IT systems.
- Periodically evaluate current systems and processes, and propose ways to improve them.
- Directly involved in developing internal systems and automated tools.
