Head of Operations, GrabPay VN

The day-to-day activities:

Lead all e-payment operations at GrabPay by Moca, including reconciliation & settlement, product operations, risk management and customer service:

• Manage reconciliation and settlement activities for GrabPay by Moca, payment platform, covering bank account/card, e-wallet and merchant card payment, including:

• • Manage the reconciliation and settlement with banks, for bank account/card payment (ATM/Visa/Mastercard/JCB) and e-wallet cash-in/cash-out.

  • Manage payment reconciliation and settlement with merchants and partners.

  • Manage fees reconciliation and settlement with banks, merchants and partners.

• Manage GrabPay by Moca e-wallet operation, including custodian accounts management.

• Lead operational process improvement and product development:

• • Lead the development and improvement of operational processes and tools

  • Work with development team, partner banks and internal stakeholders to ensure GrabPay by Moca products comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to industry best practices.

• Manage regulatory reporting and operational compliance.

• Lead risk management activities for GrabPay by Moca payment platform, including:

• • Establish policies and operational procedures to actively control risks.

  • Work with development teams to build and utilize payment risk tools.

  • Manage transaction monitoring and authorization.

  • Manage handling of suspicious transactions.

  • Lead data analysis to continuously improve risk management controls.

• Constant monitor of the cashflow in each and every wallet and bank account. Daily/weekly/monthly wallets’ reconciliations.

• Monitor and analyze transaction metrics to discover trends and inform product priorities.

• Act as a point of escalation of customer issues and advising practical solutions, manage customer service team and activities.

• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Key requirements:

• University or higher degree in Finance - Banking, Accounting, or equivalent.

• At least 05 years of experience as team/department leader (preferably higher) for payment, card or e-banking operations, in banks or e-payment firms.

• Deep understanding of the entire payments eco-system including e-payment operations, processors and gateways, acquiring banks, card networks, authorizations, settlements

• Preferably understanding of compliance and risk issues.

• Ability to communicate clearly and interact with different stakeholders.

• Ability to work and create structure out of an undefined environment and make recommendations quickly

• Excellent people manager, open to direction and able to guide team to get the job done.

• Native Vietnamese speaker with good command of English.
