Full Stack Developer – Industry 4.0

Angst+Pfister is a global leader in supplying high-quality technical components and services to industrial and commercial businesses.

The full stack developer will play a critical role in the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of solutions that enhance our manufacturing workflows, automate processes, and integrate data across various systems. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on developing and maintaining scalable, efficient applications and integrating them with AWS cloud infrastructure that support our factory operations, production lines, and supply chain.

Tasks and Duties:

• End-to-end development of cloud applications, from designing responsive, user-friendly interfaces to building and managing serverless backend services on platforms such as AWS and Azure.

• Develop and integrate front-end components using React, Angular, or Vue, and connect them to APIs deployed across hybrid infrastructures, including cloud-based and on-premise systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Build backend services with Node.js and Python, leveraging AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS for serverless execution and scalable data storage.
• Design and maintain relational and NoSQL database schemas, writing efficient queries to support dynamic application logic and large-scale data operations.
• Develop robust APIs and data pipelines to enable real-time data exchange between applications (e.g., MES, ERP) and manufacturing hardware.
• Design and implement cloud-based data storage and processing solutions on AWS, enabling real-time analytics and efficient handling of IoT and manufacturing data.
• Implement modern UI/UX designs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, delivering seamless and accessible user experiences across devices.
• Use version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket to manage collaborative codebases and ensure consistent deployment practices.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect operations, internal systems, and user data, with a focus on data integrity and secure web architecture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful, business-aligned solutions.
• Continuously enhance skills and stay current with the latest trends in machine learning, data science, and emerging technologies by participating in trainings, workshops, and industry conferences.

Working model: Hybrid (on Site 2-3 times per week)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Professional Experience 
• 4+ years of full stack development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and API Gateway.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, debugging, and deployment meth￾odologies.
Expertise 
• Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue).
• Proficient in back-end languages (Node.js, Python, or similar) and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CI/CD).
• Agile Methodologies and Project Management Tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira)

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
