Mô tả công việc

  • Create a safe and purposeful learning environment where students understand they are contributing members of a larger community
  • Develop students’ cognitive, creative, critical thinking, and reflection skills and empower them to become independent learners.
  • Develop units of study based on the school-adopted MOET and international content standards, as well as the EYP Curricular Framework.
  • Design meaningful and relevant assessments that allow every student to demonstrate understanding.
  • Facilitate engaging, student-centered learning activities to build the skills and concepts necessary to succeed on the unit and external assessments.
  • Adapt instruction to meet specific student needs and implement intervention and enrichment opportunities as needed.
  • Scaffold language development for all students.
  • Consistently communicate with parents about student academic and behavioral progress per school policy.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and liaise with other school colleagues to promote social and emotional awareness within EYP Standards and Practices.
  • Maintain classroom expectations by following the school’s student disciplinary policies and procedures outlined in the student and parent handbooks.
  • Attend professional development workshops as directed by supervisors and remain current with the EYP curriculum and standards.
  • Assist in developing the school’s syllabus and learning materials as required.
  • Complete student reports in Managebac that are in line with school policy.
  • Attend parent communication events as required and inform parents about their child’s performance and future targets.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities (ASA), field trips, and school events throughout the school year.
  • Participate in and assist with school events as required.
  • Engage in other appropriate tasks assigned by the EYP Coordinator.
