• Establish and implement preventive maintenance plans for dies and tooling to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Ensure prompt completion of corrective maintenance for damaged or worn tooling.
• Track die performance during production runs and address potential issues proactively.
• Uphold die quality and accuracy in line with product specifications and process standards.
• Evaluate die designs to confirm compliance with safety, reliability, and production efficiency requirements.
• Perform inspections, fit testing, and validations for repaired or modified tooling.
• Coordinate die changeovers and repair schedules with production planning to ensure tool availability.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support the introduction of new dies and ongoing process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, inspection logs, tool usage history, and spare parts inventories.
• Conduct root cause analysis of tooling failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Lead or contribute to initiatives aimed at extending die life, reducing maintenance costs, and improving operational efficiency.
