The Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for gathering financial and commercial data and providing assessments and analysis of the data for commercial insights. This position is a contact point between Finance and Commercial teams to assist in driving positive financial business performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sales performance and promotion control: 50%
o In charge of reviewing and controlling promotion plan. Prepare post-evaluation for big and key promotion campaigns and recommend actions for improvements.
o Collaborate with Sales Ops + Accounting team to track sales programs and analysis.
o Manage closely accrual balance, reconcile sales promotion results and give advice for promotion operation.
o Control category mapping and pricing structure.
o Prepare sales performance reports, compare actual performance with target KPI and do gap analysis.
· Sales expense and contract review: 30%
o Review contracts/documents related to commercial team.
o Review expense proposals (big event, gifts/gimmicks/POSM production, visibility sponsorship…).
o Prepare commercial team’s expense reports, analyze and control commercial costs.
· Ad-hoc tasks: 20%
o Support in forecast planning and cascading to commercial teams.
o Collaborate with other departments to improve data visualization in systems.
o Other financial analysis assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
● 03-05 years of experience as an accountant, commercial analyst or relevant position.
● Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
● Strong communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills.
● Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of Power BI.
● Understand accounting principles and reporting processes.
● Good business acumen.
● Ability to work well within a team and individually.
● English: good in both reading and written.
