Business Improvement Analyst / Specialist

Business Improvement & Automation team is responsible for evangelising process re-engineering, lean & six sigma methodology, and process automation within Regional Operations in order to provide the efficiency leverage for the business to grow sustainably. We operate on a project basis starting with building a business case, requirement scoping, facilitating improvement workshops and developing automation and process re-engineering solutions.

Get to know the role:
As a Business Improvement Analyst you will be responsible for identifying potential improvement areas, provide solutions, implement, and evaluate the result. An immersive understanding of the business processes and the ability to generate functional solutions will be the main requirements for this role. Excellent workshop facilitation for cross-functional teams and presentation skills are a must for this role.

The day-to-day activities:

You will facilitate improvement workshops for process re-engineering and collaborate closely with Business Automation SpecialistsYou will develop a project charter and build a justification for a business case to gather buy-ins from stakeholders.

• Build hypothesis and collect facts to identify pain points/issues/bottlenecks through data analysis, observation, interviews, and time study
• Propose potential solutions and lead the implementation with business owners or users. Main objectives are to improve customer NPS and Operational Efficiency through improvement in speed, quality, and cost efficiency
• Run improvement initiatives involving cross-function workshops based on project charter
• Define and maintain operating model (process flow, organization, KPIs)
• Improve internal team and customer (driver & passenger) productivity
• Work within operations department and potentially other departments regionally to improve operational efficiency
• Perform cost efficiency and risk reduction type of projects

The must haves:

• An Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or Business disciplines
• Certification in Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile, PMP practices
• 2+ years experience in business process modelling, operating model design, or business improvement
• Good communication and presentation skill
• Good in data analysis
• Advanced in Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience with Visio or other diagramming applications
• Experience with VBA macro is a plus
• Basic knowledge in finance
• Readiness to travel >50% of the time
