Get to know our Team:

Get to know the Role:

- Co-create Business Development plan and roadmap and ensure that this is synchronized with overall Grab strategic direction

- Project manage various Business Development initiatives to ensure it meets company KPIs

- Serve as a key member of the Grab Business Development team to drive overall strategy


The day-to-day activities:

- Serve as a key member of the Grab business development team to define the current landscape, strategize and execute top business development/partnership opportunities.

- Leverage Grab’s business development network and generate new leads as required to identify opportunities to improve and iterate on user/driver-centric initiatives to improve user/driver experience.

- Actively identify prospects/partners to engage by effectively developing and communicating a clear Grab value proposition to specific to the partner’s business and use case.

- Take the lead to drive the growth of Grab for Business and Grabrewards portfolio

- Work closely with ops, marketing, product and business development teams throughout Southeast Asia (SEA).

- Continuously own the development and execution of all business development initiatives, ensuring proper planning and on time, on target execution.

- Prepare and deliver regular business reviews to Grab management on progress and solutions to increase the customer adoption (users/drivers).

- Track and analyze OKRs related to all initiatives and quickly build counter measures closely working with cross functional and cross country teams.

- Manage BD, GfB and Grabrewards budgeting, mentoring, appraisals, and team management.

- Ensure all initiatives meet strategic and OKRs of the company.

- Continuously develop initiatives that are customer centric (users/drivers) by representing the voice of the customer in all initiatives with the aim of improving lives.

- Support to build and maintain a high performing team with a best in class team culture.

- Proactively work with both country and regional business development teams to craft and share best practices, efficiently using common resources.

- Provide coaching and continuous professional development of teammates.


The must haves:

- 4-5 years of experience in Marketing or Business Development.

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in other industries.

- Demonstrate strong track record in project management, and managing internal/external stakeholders locally and regionally.

- Proven ability to blend business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted, win-win deals.

- Be extremely organized, and bring a high level of attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven ability to work independently and effectively.

- Strong code of ethics and sound business judgment required.

- Relevant BA/BS/BEng degree.

- Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
