Grab has recently launched a dynamic, personalised feed on the home screen of the consumer app. This feed can host content developed internally and sourced via partners and the success of this product depends on the quality and quantity of content available to engage our users. As an Associate content owner of the feed, you will be part of a lean team that will manage the core content we show on the feed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall content strategy
Maintaining an updated pov on content types and opportunities that are relevant to our user base/service verticals and making recommendations on overarching content opportunities
Developing and tracking success metrics and iterating content strategy with the product and marketing teams
Drive creation of new widgets/features to achieve overall feed success metrics
Content partnerships
Building a roadmap with support from regional and country BD as available
Liaising with partners to develop partnership agreements in line with feed strategy and capabilities of existing content widgets
Ongoing account management with partners and coordinating with product managers to onboard and maintain partner content
Develop processes to offboard partners where necessary, and work with regional and country BD to form commercial agreements/deal structures
Content operations
Coordinating with contributors (country teams, ads, partners, other TFs, etc) to ensure a healthy pipeline of inventory, to support the overall content strategy
Developing processes with Marketing/Social Media teams to produce, curate and upload content
Liaising with our content ops team to develop guidelines to review all user-generated content, ensuring they are set up to manage new content processes
Publishing select content as needed e.g. polls, quizzes, etc.
SKILLS
Strategic thinking - can you think big picture? What should our content look like now, and in the future? How do we get there?
Customer-centric analysis - are you empathetic with customers? Do you understand experimentation and work with our analytics teams to test what type of content works with our users? Are you comfortable with both quant and qual?
Sales/account management - would you be comfortable in a deal meeting with content partners, co-creating solutions for our users?
Project management - can you project manage cross-functionally and consistently deliver to the deadline?
Language competency - you must be fluent in English. And a preference for bi/tri-lingual in another Southeast Asian language (Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.)
Nice to have: copy editing skills in case you want to develop some of your own content for the feed too!
