- Research, design, and develop tooling and fixtures to ease and improve efficiency of manufacturing operations and processes, used in precision electro-mechanical equipment manufacturing.
- Create 2D technical drawings and complex 3D models using CAD (Solid works, AutoCAD, …).
- Apply Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure proper fit and functionality.
- Design, build and test fixtures and tooling to alleviate production bottlenecks.
- Analyze test data and work with operators and assemblers to identify new methods and improve efficiency.
- Select appropriate material and manufacturing processes.
- Optimize tooling, equipment and method to lower production cost and reduce waste.
- Ensure tooling and fixtures designs comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to refine process performance and specifications.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Three years of experience in design engineer.
- Good skill in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
- Good communications skills with ability to interact with manufacturing and quality personnel.
- Project management skills and problem-solving ability.
- Solid understanding of New Production Introduction.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality systems.
- Experience with 5S and Lean process improvements.
