Technical Service Manager- Can printing (Job#19960)

• Support color qualifications in can manufacturing plant in their assigned region.
  - Work with vendors on new applications and or technologies.
  - Evaluate submitted samples to standards. Ensure SOP is being followed at all locations.
  - Update and organize regional color standard library.
  - Track and standardize ink colors thru all locations.
  - Communicate with can suppliers when color and / or barcode standards are not met.
  - Monitor and follow-up with open issues and corrective actions.
  - Research new graphics technologies and applications.
  - Conduct can plant audit and warehouse audit.
  - Launch “Incoming Can Inspection Guideline” with can suppliers and contract packers.
  - Evaluate/measure inside and outside can coating and compare results using Spec Metrix to standards.
  - Travel 50% to 75

• Requirements:

• College degree or comparable work experience in the beverage industry and project management.

  - Strong technical and/or support background in aluminum packaging.

- Ten years’ experience in 3 piece can or Flexography printing or print color management.

- Excellent written, verbal, organizational and multi-tasking skills.

- Capable of working in a fast paced environment.

- Is not color blind / deficient.

- Proficient in Excel and Power Point.

- Details oriented
