Senior Executive, Driver Supply Analysis

The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute towards Grab’s vision of being Southeast Asia’s superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.

As part of the Singapore Operations team, the GrabFood team looks at connecting Singapore eaters and customers to the vast array of merchants (from the familiar favorites to the up and coming stars) within our sunny island-home of Singapore, through our many delivery-partners.

Get to know the role:

The GrabFood Supply Team oversees everything related to our Delivery-Partners and their availability, efficiency and quality of service. More specifically, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual possessing strong analytical skills to join the team’s Planning & Analysis (P&A) arm. Projects managed by P&A often involve analysis with large data sets, creative problem-solving and deriving insights to formulate high-impact solutions.

Day-to-day Activities:

• Develop, execute and own the end-to-end process of experiments/initiatives aimed at improving the availability, quality and efficiency of our service. 

• Conceptualise, design and review delivery-partner incentives and programmes to optimise acquisition and retention efforts.

• Take ownership of key business metrics; monitor and manage weekly reporting to the relevant stakeholders.

• Manage driver-related product feature rollouts, particularly in determining configuration settings, backed with data-driven analysis and understanding of the business/supply landscape.

• Collaborate and coordinate across teams on company-wide projects; provide analytical support for other GrabFood special projects, potentially beyond the scope of driver supply.

• Support and execute ad-hoc initiatives on short notice and under intense pressure.

Must haves:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Operations Management, Economics, Statistics, Finance or other relevant fields from a reputable university

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant fields (Business Analytics, Process Improvement, Strategy & Planning, Consulting etc.)

• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; vivid storytelling skills with Powerpoint  

• Savvy analytics, strategic thinking, strong execution and the interpersonal ability to work with teams from across the business

• Ability to translate complex analytics into clear, concise and actionable insights

• Independence and discipline to see through initiatives 

• High adaptability to change; able to pivot quickly from long-term thinking to immediate action tactical response

• Excitement and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; all ready to hustle!

Good to haves: 

• Experience working in a tech company / startup 

• Knowledge of SQL
