Security Supervisor For Highlands Coffee

• The security supervisor’s job description involves managing various aspects of a security department for Highlands Coffee business.
• Supervisor is responsible to make sure security guard perform their job meet the standards.
• Some of the duties involved with this job include monitoring security equipment, supervising other security guards, assembling, documenting abnormal occurrences on a job site, and training of security teams.
• Security supervisors are often required to meet with other supervisors so as to discuss important security matters with them.
• Supervisors in charge of security are expected to be organized, have a keen eye for detail, trustworthy, and able to manage effectively.
• They can rise to be supervisors after they must have proved their skills and expertise in a lower-level security position.
• Security supervisors are responsible for hiring, managing, disciplining, training, and firing other security guards working under them as the case may be.
• Supervisor to be expected to operate computer programs for gathering data and storing information, as well as for the purpose of monitoring security guard by CCTV system.
• Supervisors patrol the grounds of a business whether at day or night.
• Supervisor is required to welcome and greet visitors and also make sure that it performance is an example for security guards.
• In case of any security threat/lost he must be ready to direct staff members to take appropriate measures to neutralize such threat/lost.
• Supervisor work with local police departments or local authorities to deal with some issues related to store operation.

Education/ Training Qualifications (university degree, college, etc.)

• High school or College.
• Knowledge of Law is advantage or studying Law is preferred.
• Security’ s certificate is a plus.

Experience (years of experience)

• At least 3 - 5 years working experience in a security supervisor role.

Knowledge of:

• Capable to manage and operate security system such as CCTV system/Patrol Guards System/IDS System.
• Knowledge of firefighting & prevention
• Capable to use computer with Word/Excel. . .
• Capable to perform initiate investigation
