Job description

This role is the country lead to design the leading, competitive and the best-fit logistics solution, supply chain model and warehouse operation
technology to meet both internal and external stake holders.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Development teams to work on RFI/RFQ/RFP written response.
  • Assess where Kuehne + Nagel can create value in these business opportunities.
  • Observe, assess and identify areas for improvement to build the desired solution.
  • Identify the data required analyze the customer’s business and design logistics solution.
  • Analyze customer data in order to design the optimum logistics solution, processes, material flow, storage methods, warehouse layout, labor planning, material handling requirement, automation…
  • Do costing, develop pricing model and proposal response.
  • Maintain up to date industry knowledge, cost, productivity and operation technology.
  • Professionally demonstrate, communicate, convince target stake holders on the designed solution.
  • Ensure solution deployment and achieve budget.

    • Your skills and experience

  • A university graduate in Logistics, Engineering or Business
  • Minimum 3-5 years of solutions design in a 3PL or a warehousing provider
  • Excellent knowledge of the local contract logistics industry
  • Successfully undertaking complex analysis such as data gathering, manipulation technique
  • Proven track record in designing and providing competitive and innovative logistics solution
  • Good listener with effective communication skills in English
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen and a confident decision maker
