- The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process.
- Their duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.
- Perform manufacturing engineering assignments of various degrees of product complexity.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes. Study production and machine/test fixtures/tooling requirements.
- Provide support to the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of manufacturing operations.
- Prepare plan, process and assembly instructions, manufacturing labor standard.
- Control and document Manufacturing Process Instructions, Train operators on new instructions and processes.
- Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Optimize assembly layouts, production lines and machine operations.
- Complete and evaluate test and production data, prepare technical analysis, recommend manufacturing methods to meet quality objectives.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure manufacturing process and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor, such as welding distortion, bend angle deviations, and tolerance stack-ups.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
- Ability to interact with all levels with good English communication skills.
- Project management skills and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality systems.
- Experience with 5S and Lean process improvements.
- Perform sheet metal unfolding/flat pattern layouts, calculating precise K-factors and bend allowances based on material type and thicknesses.
- Solid understanding of New Production Introduction.
- Good skill in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
