[HEINEKEN] Technologist / Quality Assurance Officer

Job Summary:
- Controlling and monitoring the quality and technology aspects of packaging materials, auxiliary material and packaging process to ensure to sustain quality of the products at good level and with lowest possible cost.

Job description:
* Safety
- Operates and performs tasks in compliance with the regulatory, HEINEKEN and local safety regulations. Contributes in implementing safety improvement activities
- Ensure that the workplaces are clean, tidy and safety regulation must be followed strictly.

• Control quality of packaging material
  - Control and monitor the quality and technology aspects of Packaging materials. Giving recommendation to PMB to deal with suppliers for improving the quality of packaging material. Assist PMB in auditing supplier and developing new suppliers when require
  - Setting up the trials for new materials to improve quality and saving cost.
  - Responsible for development from final art work to packaging materials.
  - Online checking for returnable material when change to new design and new mold at supplier
• Monitor quality and technology aspect in Packaging process
  - Checking technical parameters in packaging line to make sure that all the setting is followed as technology standard. Any deviation must be recorded and report to PMB
  - Monitor the handling of the NC and defect products to ensure that defined procedures are followed.
  - Responsible to investigate complaint related to packaging process and packaging material
  - Verify the accuracy of all the online instrument that related to quality, make sure they are calibrated and monitored properly
  - Participating in projects of improving products' quality and development of new products
• People development
  - Responsible to give the training to new comers about technology in Packaging when required.
• Quality system
  - To ensure that the Know How data base in Packaging is maintained and updated
  - Responsible for implementing any new rules, procedure and standard related to packaging material, quality in Packaging. Carry out compliance check in quarterly basic
  - Carry out the audit for Quality Management System as planed.
  - Participating in TPM activities as a member or a team leader to improve quality/ reduce losses.
  - Support in hygiene audit in packaging and follow up the actions.
  - Sampling and documenting the routine beer samples to HTS, Singapore. Improving all the point from HQA, TQA that related to packaging quality.
  - Support in outlet audit in market and follow up the action
  - Other job assigned by management

- University degree in Sciences, preferably in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Engineering
- At least have 2 year experience in QA, process control, preferably in FMCG
- High commitment to results
- Meticulous with good planning & organizational skills, safety knowledge is an advantage
- Analytical with strong problem solving skills
- Quality focus and attentive to details
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to take extra responsibility.
- Good understanding & application of statistical technique
- Good understanding about packaging process, and packaging material
- Medium computer literacy
- Good English reading and writing and sufficient English speaking skills
