About the role

Head of Legal is responsible for managing company’s incorporation for each business unit, handling investment structure and shareholding arrangement and providing legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage companies’ incorporation for each business unit and obtaining its business licenses;
• Responsible for investment structure and shareholding arrangement, documentation and application to relevant authorities;
• Accountable for companies’ conversion process into foreign investment companies;
• Review marketing materials and discussing it with relevant authorities to be in compliance with the Consumer Protection Law, Advertising Code of Ethic, Personal Data Protection and Intellectual Property Law;
• Liase and establish good communication with the relevant Governmental and Non-Governmental institutions;
• Draft, negotiate and review intra group agreements, service vendors, suppliers and other relevant third parties;
• Establish company’s policies and handling manpower issues in the Company;
• Draft and review Employment Agreements and Company Regulations;
• Provide legal advice to the relevant division on employment matters;
• Represent and assist the Company in civil law suit and criminal cases investigation;
• Provide legal support and advice for group business unit in other countries.

Job Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in Law or related fields;
• At least five years of working experience in a legal corporate environment; especially working as Senior Lawyer is a plus;
• Successful experience leading negotiations on complex, high value, contracts, and agreements;
• Good skills in the legal negotiation such as mergers and acquisitions, tender bidding, and contract acquisitions;
• Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and leadership skills;
• Pro-active, result-driven and detail-oriented;
• Fluent communication in both English and Vietnamese.
