Job Responsibilities

Your MISSION

• Costing Production Leader plays a critical role in Vietnam Footwear Team’s business to maintain and increase our competitiveness. You will manage and ensure our competitive and smart production cost to finally “Make Sport Accessible To The Many” by the best value for money.

Your RESPONSIBILITY

• As a Costing Production Leader of Decathlon Vietnam, you will:
  • Analyze Suppliers’ Cost Break Down (CBD) to ensure its accuracy and transparency.
  • Identify opportunities and challenge relevant parties for the cost improvements of products
  • Provide costing feedback and inputs to new products design or materials
  • Build up the method, set up and standardize our Costing process, especially in material consumption calculation
  • Lead our costing-related Projects linked to the Suppliers’ productivity & efficiency (for ex: cost per minute, standard allowed minutes measurement…)
  • Develop partnership with the Suppliers’ Costing team to guide them towards sustainable and self-improving organization in the field of Costing
  • Manage the continuous improvement in your activity
  • Share good practice to other Teams
• The career development of this position in our organization is motivating, with different directions:
  • Rotate to another positions (supply, quality, footwear developer) then Production Team Manager
  • Purchasing Manager
  • Customer Procurement Manager

Job Requirements

• Technical/Knowledge/Skills
  • At least 3-year experience in Footwear costing with track record of cost improvements
  • Knowledge of shoes construction & process
  • Strong Supplier management in terms of costing and pricing
  • Strong communication skill, especially negotiation skill
  • Strong analytic and number skill
  • Project management skill
  • Bachelor degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Accounting…is an advantage
