Finance Executive

RESPONSIBILITY: 

Provide support to the Finance Department to handle daily accounting and finance operations of Management Profit Centre and Marketing Profit Centre.

Process and data entry of Accounts Payable transactions, and prepares payments to suppliers/contractors and other ad-hoc marketing-related  and ensure timely payouts.

Manage petty cash, verify payments before payouts and promptly submit for reimbursements.  

Assisting superior(s) in handling of clearing accounts in accounting system and performs reconciliation of direct debits, etc. 

Handles basic tasks such as filing, data entry etc.Support Superior(s) closely in monthly closing of accounts.

Carry out the necessary work assigned in relation to monthly, quarterly and yearly closing such as preparing the journals, and preparing the necessary working schedules for review by Superior (s).

Handle treasury matter such as weekly fund transfer and banking related matters including opening of bank accounts, application of merchant facilities and etc.

Issue VAT invoice and handle with related matters, such as invoice cancellation and replacement

Prepare tax reports, and work with tax department for related matters under FM instruction

Assist Superior(s) on all needed work of the branches/subsidiaries as & when informed accordingly.

Carry out any other work deemed necessary or any ad-hoc assignment as delegated by Superior(s). 

 QUALIFICATION: 

• College/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or related qualification
• Good English
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast past and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
