- Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders to establish and execute sourcing strategies.
- Assess supplier capability and compliance according to company procedures.
2. Supplier Performance Management & Improvement
- Manage supplier performance by analyzing data, monitoring market trends, and identifying potential risks; propose preventive action plans for assigned categories.
- Evaluate suppliers’ delivery performance on a regular basis.
- Address and resolve non-conformities or issues arising from suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and key internal/external stakeholders.
3. Market Price Research & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze market trends to propose solutions for products with frequent price fluctuations.
- Conduct market analysis and ensure stable supply of materials for both current and future operations.
- Analyze, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with quality standards.
4. Purchasing Operations
- Organize and execute purchasing activities according to internal processes to meet the company’s operational needs.
- Supervise and control purchasing costs while maintaining required quality standards.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure clarity of product specifications and requirements.
- Participate in drafting and issuing contracts or purchase orders to suppliers.
- Coordinate closely with the planning team to communicate any changes or delays in delivery schedules.
- Contribute to product standardization and the development of alternative materials.
- Prepare regular reports and improvement proposals for the Head of Purchasing Department
