General Description :
The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are manufactured on time, in the required quantity, and to the defined quality standards. This role plays a central part in production planning, capacity management, and operational execution across the metal stamping, welding and manual assembly.
It is your responsibility to develop and manage detailed production schedules, monitor progress across all operations, and ensure accurate and timely production reporting within the ERP system. The position requires strong technical expertise in metal processing and mechanical machining, combined with effective leadership and communication skills to manage, train, and motivate production teams.
Job Description:
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
- Plan and ensure adequate manpower, machine availability, and tooling capacity
- Ensure accurate documentation and ERP data entry throughout the production process
- Take full responsibility for workplace safety, KAIZEN, and 5S standards on the production floor
- Analyze production data, workflows, and process performance to reduce waste, machine idle time, and setup times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean, efficiency improvements, OEE optimization)
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out according to plan
- Supervise, evaluate, and develop the performance of operators, technicians, and supervisors
- Identify training needs and prepare, propose, and conduct technical and leadership training programs
- Enforce compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Report directly to the General Director
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar production management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably metal stamping or metal processing
- Strong technical understanding of metal processing, tooling, and production equipment
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop production teams
- Hands-on, structured, and results-oriented working style
- Experience working with ERP systems is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 processes and requirements of advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
