Get to know our team:

We are looking for technical writers that love to communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and accurately. Do you make complex technical concepts easy to understand? We want to talk to you. Grab's Technical Publications team is part of our engineering scale family. We work across multiple service teams, delivering top-notch documentation and knowledge management systems.

Job role - What you’ll do:

  • Help engineers write technical documentation for internal and external engineering platforms, including copyediting, proofreading, and clarifying.
  • Design and organize documentation for new APIs and services.
  • Work across multiple engineering teams and manage projects related to technical documentation.
  • Define standards and style guidelines that help engineers become better communicators.
  • Create sample code and Code Labs.

Tech skills:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in technical writing, product documentation or other related fields.

  • Experience with structured programming language source code such as Go (preferred) Java, C++, C#, etc.

  • Experience with Swagger API specifications.

  • Experience creating API documentation and limited code examples.

  • Able to write clearly and concisely.

  • Able to learn technical concepts quickly.
