Having millions of user base, Grab is a leading company for ride hailing embedded with other offerings like pay, food etc across south east Asian countries. Grab’s Infosec team is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to mature its Security Response program.
Ideal candidates have working knowledge of a wide range of IT and security software, hardware, and best practices and have worked in or alongside security/incident response teams. They thrive in fast-paced environments that require a high level of coordination between teams, facilitation, and data-driven decision making. Remaining calm under stress is a requirement as is occasionally working odd hours. A sense of humor is helpful too.
Responsibilities
- Identify and plug gaps in security response process based on industry standards, best practices, and prior experience
- Improve Security Response program maturity by standardizing operational workflows, documentation, and establishing best practices for the program
- Drive resolution to security and privacy incidents
- Communicate status of security and privacy incidents as well as follow-up actions to the senior leadership team
- Schedule and coordinate post mortems for security and privacy incidents
- Manage procurement process for a wide range of software, hardware, and services
- Partner with Legal, privacy and security engineering team to make sure all stakeholders are aligned with Security Response mission, protocols, and methods
- Produce regular program statistics and ad hoc reports to be presented to senior leaders and executives. Coordinate, facilitate, and lead these efforts for the team
- Assist the team during critical incidents by helping structure task ownership, establishing timelines, and providing status reports
Skills
- Excellent understanding of security response process. Bonus for understanding of internal investigations processes
- Ability to influence cross functional team members
- Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Understand, at least conceptually, how host, network, memory, and cloud data are used in forensics and incident response
- Excellent relationship builder, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
- Experience in a fast-paced multi-country, multi-vertical industry
- A passion for continuous improvement and a history of maturing programs
- Ability to conduct basic/intermediate data analysis and dashboarding
- Focus on execution, not effort
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- BE\BS\MS or equivalent in a technical discipline or sufficient work experience
- SANS/ITIL/PMP/related certifications are a plus
- Around 7-8 years of experience
