Get to know our Team:

It's no secret that Grab is expanding. To help us achieve our hiring goals, we are building a team to help us to have conversations at scale with a large audience of potential recruits.

The People Operations (Pops) team strives to revolutionize human resources the same way that Grab has revolutionized transportation. We serve to find, grow and keep the remarkable assemblage of talent who are our Grabbers.

We know that the top talent we need to reach are not always going to be looking for a job the first time we contact them. We also know that only a small minority of applicants make up the talent pool and it's dangerous to rely on that channel in isolation.

That's why we are building a talent sourcing team in Bangalore to partner with our talent acquisition team. This team will build external relationships with people who don't know Grab, or haven't thought about applying to Grab, so we can partner with them, and provide them with the right content, right conversation, right opportunity, at the right time.

The day-to-day activities:

You will reach out to many people on a daily basis.

• Scheduling of interviews on a day-to-day basis.

• Partner with our hiring managers to deeply understand their hiring needs.

• Plan and execute creative and effective sourcing strategies to find talent that is both rare and in high demand.

• Demonstrate excellent time management and project management skills to optimize weekly, monthly, and quarterly results which meet, or exceed, target metrics.

• Find and apply new hacks, tools and shortcuts to streamline the process.

• Deliver an amazing candidate experience.

The must haves:

2+ years technical sourcing and/or recruiting experience with a technical recruiting agency or in-house recruiting team.

• Recruiting /sourcing subject matter experts with a proven track record of direct sourcing and an excellent understanding of how to use direct sourcing channels i.e. headhunting, networking, employee referral, social media, etc.

• Ability to work effectively within a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

• Customer focused, with the ability to collaborate and influence others.

• Ability to work under significant pressure with challenging deadlines, simultaneously managing multiple tasks and projects.

• Ability to change gears on short notice and adapt to the new reality quickly and seamlessly.

• You should be addicted to internet tools, apps and hacks, especially productivity-related ones.

• Endless curiosity, you must be passionate about discovery, and especially about your own development.

• Capability to be a great brand ambassador, as we will expect you to always deliver an amazing candidate experience.

• You should be logical and ridiculously detail oriented, so that you can work effectively with large data-sets.
