The payments team is responsible for building safe, secure and high throughput payments
primitives. We own a range of platform primitive components such as, but not limited to,
Wallet, Reconciliation Engine and API Gateway. We take pride in building distributed

systems that have the real impact on the lives of millions of users in our endeavour to out-
serve the underserved population. Terms such as Idempotency, CAP theorem, Distributed

Consensus are not just theoretical terms for us but have a real bearing on the systems we
build.

Get to know the Role:The role will sit within Grab Financial Group's Business Development team●New Product Launch○Own the success for new product launch○Writing new operational processes and workflow○Working with local teams to draft out go-to-market plans○End-to-end execution during pilot programs●Oversee System Integrations/The day-to-day activities:○PIC for regional merchant on-boarding that require technical integrationbetween Grab and partner (Integration comes in 2 forms: onlineacceptance and retail acceptance)○Work closely with top SEA merchants, and interact with C-level technicalexecutives and head of engineering of merchant partners○Involvement during pre-sales:​ Share basic product user journey and anytechnical questions that merchants might have.○Involvement during post-sales:​ Candidate will creating initial frameworks for merchant partners and advocate Grab Financial's API specifications○Topics:​ Guide partners on payment flow, lost prevention, settlements,chargeback & fraud, and business operations○Project manage:​ making sure there's a pipeline of partners beingon-boarded every quarterThe must haves:●Obtained Bsc Computer Science / Computer engineering and MBA●At least 3 - 6 years of experience IT consulting experience●Worked in the payments industry●Ability to articulate clearly and concisely Grab’s APIs, flows and documentations●Prior work experience in South East Asia markets is preferred●Candidate will spend 30 - 50% travelling across SEA●Ideal candidate will be Intuitive, resourceful and enjoy working independently●Great at solving complex problems
