Strategy and Projects Lead/Manager, GrabExpress Malaysia

Get to know our Team:

• GrabExpress is an on-demand parcel delivery service that enables users to send items such as documents, parcels, and gifts to their business partners, family and friends.
• The GrabExpress team in Malaysia is fairly new. As with any new business, we work in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured environment to make things happen, and are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial and hands-on spirit to join us.

The day-to-day activities:

• Co-develop and update the GrabExpress Malaysia strategy, including identifying and prioritizing key initiatives.
• Monitor budget expenditure and provide regular reporting.
• Track key performance metrics and analyse data for decision making.
• Design and refine pricing and incentive schemes.
• Drive and manage a broad set of projects, ranging from new product rollouts to end-to-end implementation of high priority initiatives.
• Collaborate with other teams within Grab (both business and functional teams) for cross-department initiatives.

The must haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field.

• Prior experience in strategy/management consulting/planning/analytical/project management roles.

• High level of adaptability in working in a high-pressure and fast paced environment.

• Dependable and reliable with timely follow-up skills.

• Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly.

• Solid quantitative and analytics skills, ability to work well with ambiguity, and interpret data effectively to make strategic decisions.

• Strong written and oral communication and storylining skills; able to make concise and impactful reports or slides as necessary.

• Ability to work independently and on multiple projects at the same time.

• Proficient in Exel and Power Point. SQL is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years’ working experience.
