Strategic Planning Associate, GrabFood Thailand
Get to know the role:
Responsible for planning and supporting GrabFood Thailand in formulating business strategy and key initiatives to drive growth and efficiency
The day-to-day activities:
Guide business strategy, develop deep understanding of what drives growth and efficiency for our business, partner to translate insights into action across teams
Develop frameworks, define metrics and manage performance, identify team metrics and OKRs that align with business goals, design/build dashboards, and track progress
Lead operational reviews of the business to drive decision making and review progress on regional goals and priorities
Identify opportunities of outsized growth potential, partner with teams to spot areas of step change impact through analysis and industry benchmarks. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to growth and efficiency
Develop and shape go-to-market strategy/plan for expansion opportunities e.g. new markets, products or businesses, vertical deep dives, organizational restructuring
The must haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields
Excellent communication and organization skills
Fluent in English both written and spoken
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational) via strategic frameworks, data extraction, quantitative analysis, and data visualization
Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly, dependable and reliable with timely follow-up skills.
Experience in financial modeling in Excel and building presentations in PowerPoint
Bonus points:
Comfortable using SQL / Tableau / Python / R
Experience in Management Consulting/Investment banking
