Strategic Planning & Analysis Senior Executive

Get to know the role:

• Support the Strategic Planning & Analysis Manager in formulating strategy and key initiatives for GrabFood to grow in Malaysia
• You will dive deep to understand the merchant, driver partners and consumer sides of the business and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization

The day-to-day activities:

• Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards for GrabFood

• Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions

• Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process

• Able to partner closely with all business stakeholders within GrabFood, transport and other cross-functions to set and implement strategy

• Manage end-to-end data projects; identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market.

• Conduct industry analysis and research with respect to competitive market trends to drive business insights

• Support to design and refine pricing and incentives schemes.

The must haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. MBA is a major advantage

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• At least 2 years of experience working in Management Consulting / Business Intelligence / Market Research / investment banking

• Experience in business analysis and corporate planning

• Ability to use various metrics to analyze complex case

• Experience in data extraction and manipulation

• Ability to use data visualization to create meaningful insights.

• High level of adaptability in working in a high pressure working environment

• Dependable and reliable with timely follow-up skills

• Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
