Get to know the Role:
- Lead or deliver specific client studies autonomously with direct contact with senior executives in the organization
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team
- Work on Grab's top agenda projects from ideation to execution. These projects span across the entire organisation (our 6 countries and across all our business units) and will influence the overall strategic direction of the firm.
- Be a sounding board for the strategic initiatives and decisions of senior management staff
The day-to-day activities:
- Own and implement projects aligned to the company’s key initiatives.
- Able to extract insights from data, trends, survey and market intelligence to support special project activities.
- Provide operational / analytical support to other functional teams
- For some projects, travel may be necessary to support our colleagues across Malaysia
- Able to project manage online and offline initiatives with minimal supervision whilst delivering effective, efficient results.
The must haves:
- Strong academic record from top tier institutions.
- Good in written and spoken English. Malay/Chinese added advantage.
- Excellent in data, analytical and problem-solving skills in a structured manner.
- Excellent in presentation, negotiation skills and people management skills.
- Ability to talk to people of all walks of life to get their support.
- Able to work well with other team members as well to help out when needed. In Grab we call this principle YPIMP - Your Problem is My Problem.
- Minimum 4-5 years of primary experience in product development, corporate strategy, marketing, management consulting or professional services.
- Self-starter and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
