Social Media Officer

Social Media Officer is responsible for managing VGU's online presence, building brand awareness, engaging with audience, and driving traffic to our website and other marketing channels. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, implement, and manage VGU's social media strategy across all relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube,…);
• Create engaging and compelling content, including text posts, images, videos, and stories, that aligns with the university brand voice and marketing objectives;
• Schedule and publish content in a timely and consistent manner using social media management tools;
• Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity. Analyze social media data and metrics to track performance and optimize strategies;
• Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner;
• Develop and maintain social media guidelines and best practices for the organization;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.

1. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, digital media, or a related field.

2. Experiences: 

• Experience in writing, blogging, social media and communication
• Interest and basic understanding of marketing, marketing instruments and branding
• Preferably some experiences in multi-media

3. Skills

• Understanding of social media channels, especially Facebook, LinkedIn, Tiktok
• Sensitive with trends among students
• Have technical skills and good communication, especially writing in Vietnamese and English
• Good teamwork and detailed-oriented skills
